We all focus on critical writing because it's one of the best ways for students to show us what they know. Whatever you teach, this session will offer you a few strategies that double as feedback on what they understand while also giving students needed practice with strong sentence structure. If students master artful sentences, they have gained a primary tool for effective communication. When they grow in effective communication, they can become world changers.

Staci Hammer coordinates reading language arts curriculum for Aledo ISD. Her passions include developing teacher expertise and empowering students to identify as readers, writers, listeners, speakers, and thinkers.
