AISD February 14th, 2025 Professional Learning

Hi my name is Michelle Yates I have been in education for 28 years. I am currently the Science Curriculum Coordinator at Aledo ISD.  I love science and love learning new things. Throughout my career, I have taught littles from prekindergarten all the way through Seniors in high school. These experiences have given me ample tools that support best practices across all grade levels.  I am also an outside consultant and facilitator for the Fort Worth Science and History Museum and STEM Experts with the focus on  Inquiry, Engineering Design, STEM, and PBL.

I believe that professional learning should be engaging, relevant, tangible, and timely. Participants in my sessions can expect an interactive setting in which they are actively engaged in the learning, and will be able leave with many take-aways that they can use in the classroom immediately.
